SEA TEACHER experiences

            On February 27, 2018 - Toady was the last day that I lived in Purworkerto and also Indonesia. I was very love this country. Actually, I did not want to come here because many information that I knew about Indonesia were not good. In fact, this place was very excellent and different from my previous thoughts. I did not want to come back my country. Even if I have stayed in Purworkerto, Indonesia for one month but I also got a lot of experiences from there. I met lovely teachers who took care me and helped me everything until I came back. In addition, I met friends who supported me everything and my students who had cooperation in our learning and teaching. Everything was very wonderful and I cannot explain all to you but I thought  you should come to experience these things by yourself. I love Indonesia especially Purworkerto where was simple but full of love and sincerity. Thanks for the fate that made us meet and you will be in my memory forever.

            On February 25, 2018 - I work up at 4 p.m.. It was very early. Although it was my holiday but I have appointment to Borobudur with teachers from SMP Muhammadiyah 1 Purworkerto. This trip was my dream which I wanted to go there when I came to Indonesia and then it was true because of them.            Firstly, we ate Soto Ayum which was chicken mush in my country but it also had some noodle. It was very tasty and cheap. Soto            When we arrived Borobudur, we had to buy ticket. The tickets were very expensive for foreigners but teachers paid for us and asked us to say anything when we pass the door.            It was amazing when I  saw Borobudur because it was wonderful and beautiful place in Yogyakata. Borobudur was the temple that designed follows Javanese Buddhist architecture, which blends the Indonesian indigenous cult of ancestor worship and the Buddhist concept of attaining Nirvana. It was very big temple and also very beautiful.   

         On February 24,2018 - I woke up very late because I was free in the morning. I took a a bath, had breakfast and wrote the blog which I had to report my experiences.          Next, I went to buy some souvenirs with my friends. They picked me up at my guest house in afternoon and let me to buy snack although it was raining. They were very kind and friendly. Moreover, they were my best friends in Indonesia. I love them. Before we came back at my guest house, we had lunch with Mie Ayum which was delicious and cheap at 3 p.m.. Thank you all for today.

         On February 23, 2018 - Today was the last day that I had to teach in SMP Muhammudiyah 3 Purworkerto. It sounded sad and I did not want to come back to my country. I thought it was very short time but it was fulfill by good feeling and many experiences.          Firstly, I joined with my students to walk around school because this was the activity on Fridays. All students had to walk for exercising in the morning and donated money from another people. It was good activity and useful for students.             Next, I  went to every classes that I taught for giving some snack to my students. I went to classes 7A and said good bye with them. Then I went to classes 7B, 7C, 7D, 8B and 8D for saying fare well to them.              Later, I gave to some souvenirs for the head master, my school supervisor, teacher who take care me and pick me up to school everyday and my friends from IAIN who were trainee students.              On February 22, 2018 - I work up very late. I cannot sleep last night because my university supervisor told me that he want to observe and evaluate me at the second time today. So I had to prepare myself and my lesson plan as well.              When I arrived school, I had to wait my university supervisor because he have just come back to Malaysia. He looked exhausted and sleepy but he had spirit in your heart. I taught class 7D and taught about occupations. Firstly, I let my students to dance with If you happy song for relaxing.             Next, I taught about vocabulary and asked students to repeat after me one by one. I taught words before I taught sentences and show pictures to them. Moreover, I had student write in their notebooks.           Later, I asked students to make groups and work in group by using matching activity. I gave words and pictures to every group. I gave instructions before they did their work. Also I asked them to present in

            On February 21, 2018 - I work up very early because I wanted to wear traditional Thai dressing. Therefore, today was the first day that I dressed Thai suit in northern part of Thailand. I had to get dress by myself. I think I was beautiful for this morning.               When I arrived school, everyone was surprised about my dressing and also they wanted to take pictures with me. They made me feel shy very much.            Next, I went to teach class 8D. I taught about reading. Firstly, I read to my students and asked them to repeat after me sentence by sentence. After that, I asked students to read together. Lastly, I let them to read and answered the question by randomly for evaluating. They were very excellent even if their accents were difficult to understand.              I was very happy and cheerful because my students enjoyed and paid attention when I taught them.           On February 20, 2018 -  Today, I was sleepy because I went to bed late last night. However, I had to went to school earlier because I had class in the morning. I taught class 7C. I taught about occupations.            Firstly, I let students to dance by using "If you happy song" before we start the lesson. Students were interested and enjoyed with dancing.            Then, I taught about occupation vocabulary. I asked students to guess about pictures and show the word after they answered. I used "What do/does you/we/they/he/she do? and Where do/does you/we/they/he/she work?" before I showed the sentences and let them to repeat after me.              Later, I asked students to do exercises in the board. I let students to go to in front of the class for fulfilling the answer into the blank one by one and read the answer together.            Finally, I asked students to do pair work by using dialogue conversation.
